We live in the central coastal Calif area, and are looking at getting a couple chicks for our backyard. I have been lurking around the forums for a bit now, trying to plan a coop and pen. I love all of the threads on different breeds too. Very helpful!

We live in the Ventura area. Its funny because some maps refer to us as So Cal, and some as Central Cal coast... We are looking to move further north down the road a bit, we keep inching away from the higher population areas. We would really like to get a little more land, but Calif prices are scary. =)
