I've had chickens now on and off for 30 years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Lucky 13!
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Black Australorp, 2 Buff Orpington, 2 Barred Rock, 2 New Hampshire Red, 2 Sussex, 2 Rhode Island Red, 1 Delaware
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Their happy sounds, their crazy antics, and their eggs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, painting, violin, hiking.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Married, 4 grown children, 4 cats, 1 cockatiel, self-employed own construction business in California.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I have been reading this site for years, finally decided I should join to interact more.
