Hello from central Illinois!

Hello,

We recently got 8 chicks (2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Easter Eggers, 2 ISA Browns and 2 Black Australorps). This is our first time raising chickens and I'm sure we will have plenty of questions as we learn. We have 3 kids (25, 24 & 8 years), 2 dogs and a cat. Hubs is building the coop (6'X5') and run (16'X5'). We are planning on lots of free ranging for our girls. We are happy to have found this forum and look forward to utilizing everyone's experience, we already have!
