Hello! New to backyard chickens, and our family (ok, mostly me) has been learning quickly under the tutelage of our flock: a black, a white, and a blue silkie, all two weeks old, two buff orpingtons, (we suspect pullets) both 8 weeks old, and two 16 week old black australorp pullets. Of course, upon saying I can't get too attached, I named them: April, Donatella, Leona, Splinta, Shredda, Raphaella, and Michaelangela, in that order. I've lurked on here for a year, I guess it's time to join the club!
