Hello from central Oklahoma

Hello. My wife and daughter, 12 y.o. adopted from China when 2, love our chickens. We would have never taken the plunge without the information on BYC. After carefully studying this site last winter, getting day old chicks from the local lumber yeard early spring, working my tail off to build a chicken coop and run this spring, we are off and ruunning. We now have 7 eggs a day. We have 10 Buff Orps and 2 RIR.

Beautiful coop. You can be proud. What is the white board below the roost? I may have misread your post.

The white board (or shower board) is from Lowe's. It is about $10 for a 4 x 8 sheet and cuts easily with a skill saw. It is smooth, slick, easy to clean.
