Hi everybody I am NEW to chickens and sooooooo excited I can hardly contain myself! I don't have any chickens yet but I plan on adding them to my farm the end of March. I am having my boyfriend build me a coop so everything will be ready for their arrival. I am adding 15 chickens to 24 horses, 6 cats, and 4 dogs. Our animals are spoiled rotten and I expect no less for our flock of chickens. We raise AQHA reined/cow horses for showing and selling so If anybody needs a horse... I just finished my degree from Oregon State in general agriculture w/ equine option and I REALLY wish I would have taken a poultry class. Anyways I have always wanted chickens but my parents would never let me have them. Everyone that I have talked to says chickens are the most fun so I can't wait for them to get here. This message board and website has helped me so much in planning for my coop. Thanks and I can't wait to explore more of the world of chickens! ~Rachel
