We have finally decided that we would love to add Chickens to our small homestead.
We are planning our coop and starting with just four laying chickens for the two of us, and feverishly researching all we can.
I am glad we found this web site for just Chickens ;)

If you are planning to start with chicks, make sure they are sexed or sex-linked to avoid an unwanted roo. With a small flock, best to avoid that disappointment.
