Hello from Chicago!

Hi everybody! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone at BYC. Currently, I don't have any birds, but I love their beauty and grace - I'll mainly be on the duck thread! My pets consist of one male yellow lab. I feel so sad when I look at the lists of pets all y'all have!!!

Welcome to the forum! I grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Does your neighborhood have ordinances concerning ducks?

Hi! Yes, unfortunately, our town has laws regarding ducks. We are not allowed to keep any poultry or livestock, and the mayor refuses to listen to any other possibilities.

I don't really recommend indoor ducks because it takes real effort to control duck smells indoors
