Welcome! I am over in Pike County, about 90 minutes directly east of Cincy. We moved out here from Washington, DC a few years ago, so I know about all those pesky city ordinances.

The timing might work in your favor as more and more people want to become self-sufficient. Good luck with changing the law!

Good luck! I really hope you're able to get the ordinance changed! There have been several people here this year wanting to do the same in their towns. Please keep us updated on how it goes. :)

Hello, I saw your post last month when I first joined BYC.
I am extremely close to you. I wanted to comment so that your post doesn't get lost and also to see if you have made any progress. How do we even go about getting things changed? I have absolutely 0% political bone in me but this is SOOOO important. Not only to my family personally but as a whole. As a community. Are there papers to file? A petition?
