My name is Robin and for about a year now, I have been a city chicken farmer...is there such a thing?!?! My girls reside in a chicken tractor that we move around the backyard. Currently, I have four hens...a Red Star Sex Link, named Ruby, a black Silkie mix, named Camile, and two Ameraucanas, Midnight (black) and Bella (blonde with gray). I let them range in the backyard when I am out with them. They are the perfect pets. 3 of the 4 are currently laying and I hope that Bella will kick in sometime this week. I get brown eggs from Ruby and pinky/peachy eggs from Camile and Midnight...hoping that Bella will drop some of those infamous blue/green beauties!
