Not new to the world of raising chickens! I was almost raised by chickens. My Grandfather was a Game Chicken connoisseur. His game birds (line) had been in the family for over a hundred years. He was very protective and particular about them. I didn't see the relevance of that until after he passed away and all his chickens vanished. Anyway, I have some Rhode Island Reds, Australorps, Auracanas, Barred Rocks, an unknown Bantam Hen, Brown and White Leghorns. Total - 3 Roosters and 18 Hens. I am a Leghorn fan as they lay white eggs and lots of them. My desire is to branch into the world of game birds. Just having a hard time finding what I want! My wife, two daughters and son enjoy the chickens as much as I do. Even the old crazy cat, Cher, likes to have her kittens in the chicken coop!!
