Hi! I'm Lily and my boyfriend and I currently have two Welsh Harlequin ducklings, Marzipan and Juniper. They love to cuddle and sleep in our hands. I became interested in the idea of getting ducks early this summer, and after spending countless hours researching I finally decided to purchase two Welshies from Metzer Farms.
During my research I would frequently notice links to BYC, so I finally decided to join the community.
Besides taking care of my ducklings, I'm very musically inclined and enjoy singing, songwriting, and playing the ukulele.
I guess you could say I never grew out of my "emo phase", because I still listen to Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, and Twenty One Pilots. Over time I've migrated to more obscure alternative bands, but I still love my old favorites.
I'm excited to start integrating myself into this whole BYC community, and would love to chat with fellow poultry enthusiasts! Feel free to message me any time.
