We are a family of 5 with 5 Silver Lace Wyandotte hens (we hope!) that we welcomed as chicks during Hurricane Irene. Despite the challenge of keeping them warm without electricity they did fine, are thriving, and we are loving them. Our three children are suspicious that all I do all day is feed the hens treats while they're at school, because I often welcome them home, then launch into what I discovered about what the ladies liked or didn't like that I gave them. Many thanks to BYC's!

I do the same thing on my days off. Just play with the biddies. There are a lot of knowledgable peeps on here. hope you enjoy.
