Thank you so much for the wonderful & warm welcomes ! I'm still wandering around here reading everything. I was going to try and post a photo of the chicks to find out possible color(s), but I found the same babies and believe they will be black or grey.
I have a white rooster & two black hens (for silkies). Though I've had them for the past three years, there's tons I don't know. I really love the cream/buff colored silkies. Just don't know anyone local, to look at some of ask about.
A little bit about me. I have rescued cats (& then random animals great n small lol) as an official rescue for 13 years. So many people around here think that any animal in need means call 'her'
that's how I got my very first hen. Someone left her in a cage, she was pretty much bald and full of blisters when I got her. She wasn't so friendly 3 1/2 years ago. Now i can call her and pet her. Momma red is just cool. I think she's a rhode island red? Once I can get my computer to work, I'll upload pictures & can't wait to find out what the other two 'send them to her' hens are
I have tons of furry, finned, and feathered animals to keep me busy.
