Hello-I'm Christina and I have 5 gorgeous chooks,including a feisty cockerel.
I originally had 7 birds, but have lost 2 over the past 2 years (one to mycoplasma and one to cancer).
I feel a little embarassed by how wonderful I think chickens are, as out there in the big world some people tend to see them just as food or 'rustic decor.'
I love the way they interact with each other and the world, their doughty little spirits, the many ways in which they experience life differently to us and the many ways in which we are the same.
It is great to be able to communicate with other chicken enthusiasts
