Hello ive been very interested for a long time to get my own backyard chickens..
Now that i finally have my first house with a big backyard im finally ready..

Hopefully i can find the answers here to all my questions..
 
Welcome to Backyard chickens. The best place to start your chicken education is the Learning Center. You may also want to post on your state thread and see if you have an chicken friendly folks in your area.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. My wife and I were both raised in the great state of Texas, not too far from where you are (Blue Ridge for her, Greenville for me).
