Newbie from Northeast Tarrant County with 3 six month old RIR girls and one Buff Oprington girl. This forum has been holding my hand throughout coop construction, run installation, types of feed and breed choice.
Thanks to all who have assisted us in our decisions! My math says I'll break even on construction costs sometime around 2016 unless I can find someone willing to pay $350 for a dozen eggs!

Hi from Ohio...My dad used to say that city people will by anthing. I would start there, you just might find a market for $350 doz. eggs. Besides how food cost is going it wont be long for that price anyway! Welocome and have fun!
