Well good news all, I got her! I chased her through the woods, around the coops, and finally convinced her to go back into the coop! Lots of treats were given to remind her that the coop is a safe space.
Welcome back, Adam.Hello all! I am finally back after a series of life events that took me away. Sadly the last flock of chickens did not last more than a year. They were fine one night and mid afternoon the next day all nine were laying on the ground dead. I decided that with the dwindling number of people in our family home that I was going to take a break, we torn down the old coops and when I built the next one I will not havin in the same place. Also, I am not going to get my chicks from a store. I have family members that have chicks each spring and I am purchasing my chicks from them.
