(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
A: My wife and I have been keeping egg layers for about five years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
A: We have 10 layers now and plan to add 20 more hens
(3) What breeds do you have?
A: Plymouth Rock
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
A: We enjoy the variety of personalities, watching them interact, and the delicious fresh eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
A: We are RV campers, beekeepers, and glass and wood art makers
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
A: We are parents of adult children and grandparents. We have a Cairn Terrier and cat that enjoys country life and RV camping.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
A: I found your community online and decided it was time to connect with other fanciers of raising and keeping chickens.
