Thanks everyone for the welcome! It's getting closer to the day to getting them! I know for sure one will be a Production Red, dying to know what the other two will be, but I'm getting them from my friend and he doesn't remember what all he has out there, it's driving me NUTS!!!

Thanks again for the welcomes! I just finished my tractor today. It is now blue with sunflowers on the sides (got the inspiration from someone on here), and the back has Fresh Eggs on the nest box door and then a moon and a star and Moonchild and Starkeeper Farm on it. Moonchild is me, Mandara, that is my business name for handmade soap and other stuff, and Starkeeper is my best friend/roommate, Steven's name and business name for his candles and other things. My friend Natasha who built it told me about a lady with barred rocks that she had sold her flock to, so I'm going to get one that came from Natasha's flock tomorrow, too cool. I am a happy, happy girl! I have wanted chickens forever!!

I got most of my chickens today!!!! I got an EE that I am in LOVE with! She is so super sweet! A buff orp/EE mix, and an adorable Barred Rock! I just adore them so far! They are all so calm and sweet! Getting a blue splash maran from my friend later this week! I think I will enjoy them so much! I see why some people have so many! They are so neat! I am going to have to move to a farm for sure eventually!!!
