Hello from East TX!

I am new to chickens and will be getting three teenager hens in a few days I hope! My friend is building me a chicken tractor from PVC and wood and wire, it should be done tomorrow, and another friend is giving me the hens. Very excited! I live with my 85 yr old grandmother with alzheimer's and my best friend. My grandmother had chickens when she grew up on a farm so she is really excited. I have a large organic garden that she loves, so this should just add to it. I love gardening and wish I could have a farm, but well, this is my start anyway
