I am raising 2 granddaughters, a toy cockapoo, two red eared slider turtles, a goldfish and in a few weeks 6 chicks. We had a beautiful barred rock, but sadly a possum got her this past November. My granddaughters are in 4-H and plan on showing all 6 chickens this year. My youngest granddaughter showed her barred rock last year and won Junior Champion. We are getting a larger coop and making it as predator proof as we can.
I have been to this site many times in the past year and decided it was finally time to become a member... have gotten tons of helpful information here.
