Hi I am Marissa - I am a swimmer and I raise chickens. I wanted to have my own log in on this site.
My Mom is on here all the time.
We are getting new chicks tomorrow. My Mom has to go on a business trip so I get to be in charge with my older brother - I helped to raise the last batch because my dad was on a business trip and my brother was an exchange student in Germany.
My mom thought it was a good idea for me to post questions here about the chicks.
We have two goldenlaced wyandottes - Dot and Lutzie - (loot see - my brother named her after a little girl he met in Germany) they are 5 weeks old and are in the coop.
Tomorrow we are getting 2 silverlaced wyandottes girls and one silverlaced wyandotte boy and they ran out of golden laced girls so we are getting a barred plymouth rock girl. My uncle had some I am pretty sure like that.
I am a kid. I want to join 4-H and learn to raise and show chickens. I am a girl scout. And I like to swim back stroke and breast stroke and I am pretty fast in freestyle but it is not my favorite. I only swim fly when my coach makes me and because I do like to swim IM (that is individual medly not instant message)
I was home schooled last year - I liked hanging out with my mom but I really missed my friends from school - swimming - you can't exactly chit chat and not make coach mad so it isn't really a time to hang out with friends just keep swimming - but I really like swimming.
