Hi Everyone,
As a child, I always wanted some chickens, however growing up and living in the cities always prevented me from this. We have since recently moved to an little 1.5 acre farm. I thought that with grocery prices going through the roof, this would be the perfect place to finally get a few hens and show my kids that they don't have to be dependent on grocery stores for food. So, I have recently acquired 2 Buff Orpington Hens and 2 Silver Laced Bantam Cochin hens (They are laying like crazy). I cannot believe how quickly these chickens creep into your hearts
The kids are completely in love with them. Needless to say, I am very new to the world of chickens and will cherish all of the help and advice from all of you!
