My husband and I just bought 2 acres and are ready dor our backyard chickens. Wanting to know good ideas for coops, free ranging, and best chickens for the hot Florida sun and with kids, what do do about dogs and cats or other possible predators!

the coop tap is a great place to get ideas on chicken coops.My husband and I are building chicken coops right now and we looked though the coop tap and took some of this and some of that from different designs on there. You might also have luck search for Florida in the advanced search bar on this site as well. Good luck with your coops and chickens.
