Hello from Guntersville, Alabama

Hello everyone, I have already learned so much here. My chicks were born on January 31. I got my first egg today from my barred rock. I hope the other three will follow soon. One is a black austorlope, a rhode island red, and a buff of some sort. My five year old girl loves them to death. I have to learn to post photos from iPad.

from West Virginia. I have an 8 year old daughter that is the same way. She is visiting my sister in TN for the summer and her first question for me when I call to talk to her is "How's the chickies?" Not "Hi mom, how are you?" nooooo....It's all about the chickies.
