Hello from Hartford, WI!!

Hello everyone,
We have been taking about getting ourselves a little hobby farm for a while now but are finding it difficult to sell our house. We love our house so this just means we have to adapt to the land we have. We have gotten by with raised beds and pumpkins in the landscaping but we really want some chicks. We live in the city so by law we aren't allowed to have any. We are looking for any advice or experience anyone has had in changing things in their own area.
