Once our deer fence is up we hope to also keep some Racka and Cikta sheep, and Mangalica pigs - I see that the Hungarian dog breed 'Puli' is in the 'Other Pets and Livestock Database', gazing upon them always makes me smile.

Spring has kicked in beautifully here in the South of Hungary and our chickens roam freely within the land exploring, and finding, new places where to sand bathe and scratch for grubs and seeds, I am buying at the moment free-range eggs from a family down the road (our only road in the village), and they are delicious. We can't wait for eggs from our own chickens!
