My name is Amanda -- we live on a little homestead in northern Idaho. Husband Eric, daughter (4), 4 goats, 10 hens, 1 rooster, 2 dogs.

We are experiencing our first hatch as we speak! I love having chickens -- especially watching them. It's very therapeutic! Of course, getting eggs is a major plus, too.
