For years my husband has been pestering me to get chickens. I continually said no until this spring. Now I'm hooked!!! We were only going to have 4 hens. I now have 4 Amber Stars, 6 Jersey Giants, 1 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, 2 Black Laced Red Wyandottes, 1 "Mystery Laced" Wyandotte (could be another black) and today I picked up 6 Silver Laced Wyandottes. And to add to the chickens we have 1 Pekin, 1 Indian Runner, 1 Cayuga and 1 Khaki Campbell.

We love our babies!

Welcome to BYC! Wow - talk about getting hooked! And I thought I was being bad when I told hubby we were getting three and I came home with four (they messed up the chicken breeds I reserved and I just couldn't decide between two

Haaaahahahaha!!! Oh yes.....it's totally my fault. My husband was ok with the "4 hen limit". I'M the one who keeps getting more. We had to build a bigger chicken house! Go big or stay home!
