Hello and how is everyone? We are in Bartlett Illinois and are new to the chicken world. We picked up our new ladies on Tuesday and they seem to be quite happy with their new home. We went with two Rhode Island Reds (hers) and two Barred Rocks (his). The dogs and cats have no idea what we are getting them into. We cannot wait til they get to go outside and meet the rest of the outside world. Any tips and or suggestions are always appreciated. We thank all of the folks that have no idea their post and pictures have had such an impact on others that are getting started in this wonderful hobby.
