Hello from Indiana

New to the chicken thing. My son is doing it for 4H. Though he and I have wanted chickens for awhile now. My husband finally agreed. We live 1 block outside city limits so no zoning issues (and my neighbors are all thrilled). Have 6 (hopefully) layers--one we think may be a rooster. 5 roasters coming May 3 and 5 broilers coming June 1. Should make an interesting summer.
