Hello everyone. Three years ago, my wife and I, along with our 3 kids moved back to the family farm. And this is the year we are starting our small flock. The coop is ready. The run is ready. And we currently have Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks, and Easter Eggers in their brooders. Love this website and forum. I have learned so much all ready. I look forward to talking with everyone in the future. Jim

Welcome to BYC, Jim. Glad you decided to join our flock. Raising chickens is a wonderful experience for children. My granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loves our chickens. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your chicks.

glad you have joined us.

Congratulations on your new baby chicks. Great planning to have the coop and run already done, so now just to enjoy the experience.
