Hi, welcome to BYC!

I've only had chickens but maybe someone else will come by that has chickens plus other birds. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

It's nice to have you join us!

Hi Heather,

Nice to 'meet' you :) How many chicks is a lot then!?

I HavE 26 chickens and 5 ducks and three turkeys and I'm not sure if you count 3 Guinea fowl as chickens. They all seem to co exist just fine except the chickens tend to pull the neck feathers out of my turkeys during feeding time. But they are just the funniest things to watch while I'm cleaning out the coop or gathering eggs. They almost fight for attention!

Wow you do have a lot of chickens! Did you get 26 all at once, or build up to it?

I got 20 as a gift along with a coop Then feel in love with them and got six more! But now I have two six week old chicks with a rather hard lump on their shoulder and it's kind of a worry. If I could figure out how to put up a picture to show you I would. I'd really hate to put these two down.
