I am a new member but have been pulling up the site now and then for information for a couple years. I am a full time student as well so I do not expect to be on here very much at all. I do appreciate all of the wisdom and knowledge I have seen on this site and am glad to be able to have access to it.
We have 9 girls- 5 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Leghorn, one Buff Orpington and one Barred Rock. They came from 4 different flocks at 4 different times and though we tried to integrated them properly, they have had some rough times in our back yard. They are all doing pretty good now and they are mostly all sweet things and all come quickly to me when I call. We enjoy having chickens and are just trying to learn how to be the best Chicken parents that we can be.
