My brother, sister , her daughter and my son vacationed in Ireland a couple of years ago. They liked it very much. My sister and her daughter plan to go back when able.

Hi,

I'm living in the West of Ireland. I got 3 chickens in July this year. 2 have yet to start laying and the 3rd has gone broody. I'm currently trying to modify my set up for the broody to sit.

I would love to go to Ireland!!

Ireland is beautiful. We've been here for about 9.5 years now. Very wet though at the moment. December was the wettest on record. I'm glad we live on the top of the hill so haven't flooded. The whole place is a muddy mess. My brahmas are happy in their covered run so they are not getting their feet dirty. But I'm wading through mud several inches deep to get to them.

Great to see another member from Ireland on here! I moved here from SA a few months ago and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Apart from the rain, rain, go away, it's been amazing here. Which county are you in? I'm in Tipperary, close to the Kilkenny border.

I'm up in Mayo, near the borders with Sligo and Roscommon. We've also lived in West Co Galway and in Limerick city for a while. But now bought some land up in Mayo.

I lived up in Mayo, near Achill, for a bit. It's so beautiful up there, if a bit isolated.
