I just found the site this morning, saw some nice posts and thought I'ld join.
I live very high up a mountain, awesome place for animals..both domestic and wild.
I have besides many other critters 4 hens and a rooster that come and go as they please,
have to love free range and get very nice brown eggs mostly in the cooler seasons.
I am wondering as my aunt years ago had banty crossed hens that did the most awesome job
keeping bugs from her most prolific garden...will the banties get squash bugs, grasshoppers or
those horrid bees that appeared last summer?
I hope to make many good gardening friends here, I love to trade seeds and talk most anything
having to do with homesteading, gardening, critters etc. Just a hillbilly at heart, don't know any
other way of life.
I loved reading your posts and do hope to hear from y'all
