Hello to all of you. I am excited to be a part of this group of which I have never done before.
This is the second year our family has had chickens, and I enjoy them so. I love to just sit outside and watch them and talk to them and just enjoy them.
Be a newbie at this last year we lost several of the chickens we started out with. At this moment we have one Red Sexling hen, three Araucana hens, Araucana Rooster, and Buttercup Rooster. We have three month old pullets now that are Rhode Island Reds, Sliver Laced Wyandottes, Light Brahmas, and Black Australorps.
My husband and I have four children and three of them are taking their chickens to the 4-H fair.
I look forward to getting to know you via this forum.
