My husband and I are new feather brains haha. We live in north central Kentucky and have a flock of nine. 1 lohmann brown we think a year or two old. 2 golden comets almost a year old. 3 black sex links 6 months. 3 golden wyandotte 6 months. The girls have a lovely custom made coop and a run about 40ft x 8ft plus a couple hours of free ranging a day on about four acres. We've had a couple vet trips but all in all quite happy and healthy.

this is Lulu. We got her this winter and believe she was about a year or so old.

Rosie and Ginger the day we brought them home in February about six months old.

Rizo, Jan, Marty, French, Sandy and Goldie on their first outdoor play date meeting with the big girls. They we hatchlings adopted in February and yes I know Goldie was not one of the girls from "Grease".

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I have to admit my husband and I have been lurking around for over a year here researching chickens, coops and ideas before we dove in head first into a flock. We have really enjoyed the knowledge gained from your forum.
