Pictured is my flock of 7. They’re all from the same woman (assuming from same batch). Born May 21st. One of them has not grown the same size, has barely any wattles, no helmet, face isn’t blue and is bullied by the rest. Stays a far distance behind everyone as they roam the yard. I’m aware they are quarrelsome birds, just wondering if something is wrong or is this bird the runt? Why isn’t he/she developing like the others? Help! I feel badly hah.

Birds are very set in their ways about things that are different. Guineas in particular are very prejudicial.

If it is from the same hatch, the size difference and growth rate may be attributed to genetics from being too inbred.

This is how guineas treat members that might be considered to be inferior or have something wrong with them.

If you know someone that has a much bigger flock, you could try rehoming it. It may do better in a bigger flock where it isn't the center of attention.
