Hi All,
I've been meaning to join this forum for some time now but finally bit the bullet today. So just thought I'd drop a quick hello to everyone. I'm fairly new to keeping chickens as I got my three girls in August this year. The first few weeks were a big learning curve but soooo fun at the same time. One of my girls got ill a couple of months ago with egg peritonitis but against all odds, she appears to have survived the worst.. fingers crossed. So another big learning curve.. but not so much fun this time!! Anyhow, I found these forums such an incredible help to understand more about the illness and how to deal with it.. which is why I thought I'd like to join in the discussion and perhaps be of help to someone else one day.
My chucks are called;
Lady Matilda Featherbottom
Dame Dorothy Stickybeak
and Senorita Fajita!!
Right, I'm off to explore some other topics but I look forward to chatting with all of you at some stage.
Thanks
Bonita
