Yeah, they seem to enjoy being house chickens! Whenever I'm home, I just leave the coop open, and they can roam the house, the yard, wherever they like. Haha. Funny thing is, they choose to spend 70% of their time inside.

And yeah, Polka Dot is... Just beautiful! I've never seen anything that looks like her. I wish I could figure out what to breed her with to get some chicks just like her! I got her from Sweet Peeps Chicks in Round Rock. Catherine didn't really wanna let her go at first (one of the favorites around the farm), but eventually, she decided I was worthy of taking care of such a special girl. My fiancée and I are extremely lucky to have her. We spoil and appreciate her

Love your little flock! Keeping them so close is so rewarding, specially when they can come inside and watch tv and such with you. My girl used to fall asleep on my belly (and I'd usually end up falling asleep too!) when we would watch movies together. I love that people are starting to open up to the idea of it.
