Hello from Louisiana with Rhode Island Reds

Hello,
I found myself coming back to the website over and over for guidance in starting my own back yard chickens, so I joined. I started with 26 Rhode Island Red chicks and so far I have had wonderful success with this breed as a dual purpose chicken for my hobby farm.
Me and my wife look forward to many conversations and growing with our new feathered friends !
