Beekeeper turning chickenperson here. I hail from southeast, Louisiana. Will be backyarding it. Found some Americaunas and Buffs from a nice man and woman in Kentwood. Once I get over a bout of pneumonia I will be picking out at least 4 layers to be, the chickens I will be picking from are 15 weeks now.
My interest has grown out of some necessary diet changes which has my wife and I eating a super healthy traditional diet.
Some of my fellow beekeeping friends from beemaster.com are apparently members here as well. We talk chickens there in our Farm and Country section.
