I am a complete newbie to this but am ready to dive in head first. I live just outside of Mandeville, LA and plan on building a small backyard coop in the next month or so and looking forward to some fresh eggs soon after that. Though will most likely need to find a few hens first. Love all the info and look forward to picking everybody's brain.
