Hi fellow chicken people! I'm very excited to finally have some chickies of my own - and a whole online world of other chicken people to talk to and learn from! Three weeks ago I bought my first two chicks, an Easter Egger and a Black Sex Link. The next day I went back and bought a Red Sex Link. I went back a week later for a Wellsummer, and a week after that I got a Buff Orpington. They're all so wonderful and unique...I just love them and love watching them grow up. I've been on BYC every day since I took my first chicks home, so I figured it's time I get in on the action. :) I'm excited to get to know some other chicken folks!

Ha! You have the chicken bug for sure. Wait until next yr. See how many more you have. You will love the eggs from those sex links! They are great layers. The Wellies give such pretty speckled eggs! Easter Eggers ..ahh, those blue/green eggs. You have a pretty assortment for sure in that egg basket.
