Good morning! I am starting a new flock after having kept chickens 20 years ago. Happy to be back in a place where this is possible and looking forward to applying lessons learned from last time!

This time around - I am hatching eggs in an incubator for the first time. Currently I am down to 6 Hedamora eggs and 4 Shetland Hen eggs. (Started with a dozen of each - shipped eggs...)

Considering bringing in some brooder buddies to fill out the group as I ultimately would like to end up with 6-8 hens.
