Hello from Maine

Hi, I haven't had chickens since I was a kid. I live in an urban area and we are allowed up to six hens. I'm building my coop and hoping that I can get a run built and covered by the time the new chicks are ready to go outside. I ordered 5 Barred rocks and one Rhode Island Red. Chickens are the first step in a bigger permaculture plan I have for my small back yard. I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone else is doing. Thanks!
