Hello From Maine

Hi,

This is my second adventure in raising chickens. I live in Southern Maine. I am a music education major who loves animals. My boyfriend and I just ordered six new girls: 2 Rhode Island Red's, 1 Barred Rock, 1 Black Sex Link, 1 Red Sex Link, and an Ameraucana. They will be ready for us on June 25, in the meantime I'm spending all of my time on BYC to make sure we do everything right.

I live in Aroostook County Maine, and love it! We've been here just over 2 years and have about 40 hens. Learning more every day about how to raise and care for them
