Hi my is Danie and I am a New England transplant, we bought a house in Maine with a little land so we could start a garden and raise chickens. As spring is creeping upon us we are eager to start our dream. We have not yet purchased our Chicks. I wanted to familiarize myself with the world of chicken lovers. Learn as much as possible from you all and ask a question or two (when I actually have them). So Thank you for having me, I am excited to be here.

Hi Danie, I didn't know spring ever came to Maine - but, I'll take your word for it. We have some great chicken folks living in the state - you can connect with them and more . Go to "where am I, where are you," in the social thread to locate and post on your state thread.
